Forecastle has released the daily schedules for its upcoming festival, so you can start obsessively arranging your three days on Waterfront Park hour-by-hour. The festival kicks off on Friday, July 12 at 4:45 p.m. with folk-rockers Roadkill Ghost Choir (sounds like: Radiohead channels Gram Parsons) on the Boom Stage and American bass pioneer Salva on the dance-oriented Ocean Stage, then wraps at 11 p.m. Sunday, July 14, with closing headliners The Avett Bros. 

Robert Plant & The Sensational Shape Shifters have been added to the line-up for the 2013 Forecastle Festival in July, organizers announced on Tuesday.

"Robert Plant and his amazing new group of conspirators the Sensational Space Shifters will be performing songs from every era of Plant’s storied career," Forecastle said.

Plant, of Led Zeppelin fame, more recently collaborated with bluegrass musician Alison Krauss.

Boys Noize, Inc. and singer-songwriter Sarah Jarosz were also added to the Forecastle lineup.

The Black Keys, Avett Brothers and the String Cheese Incident lead the 2013 Forecastle Festival line-up, which also includes Jim James, the Alabama Shakes, the return of the Flaming Lips and more.

Tickets for the annual Forecastle Festival in Louisville go on sale Friday. A limited number of $100 three-day  passes will be available on the Forecastle website at noon. All other ticketing options, including VIP tickets and single-day passes, will go on sale at a later date.

This year's Forecastle Festival will be held July 12-14 at Waterfront Park. The festival line-up has not yet been released.
