Louisville Metro Police will again collect expired or unused pharmaceuticals during the city’s sixth’s drug toss that begins Thursday and continues through Saturday.
Mayor’s spokesperson Kerri Richardson says the twice-annual dropoffs have been well-received. Last year, officials disposed of nearly 12-hundred pounds of pills and recycled some 400 pounds of pill containers.
