Should the Government Fund Public Broadcasting?

STATE OF AFFAIRS 03/03/11: Should the federal government continue to fund the Corporation for Public Broadcasting? That question has of course been the source of passionate debate in recent times, although efforts to cut or eliminate such funding have surfaced periodically for years. We’ll hear different views on the subject, and invite you to weigh in on government funding for public broadcasting today on State of Affairs.

At the risk of giving Mr. Bose another chance to filibuster, I’d like to point out that of the 500 channels most speak with the voice of corporate America, much more than with pbs speaks with the voice of the American bureaucracy.

Do you think Rupert Murdock doesn’t have an opinion?
