War Journalism
When the U.S. has been involved in wars on foreign soil, Americans at home are far removed from the realities of the conflict. Journalists bring the war home to us – often putting themselves in harm’s way and at odds with the U.S. government. This Monday, we’ll talk with reporters and photographers who have covered conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan about what it’s like to report from a war zone – and why it’s so important.
