Incentives Approved For GE Expansion

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has approved an incentives package for General Electric to expand operations at Louisville’s Appliance Park. Adult Daughters and Mothers

Mothers and daughters, just the phrase can conjure up the image of a little girl looking up at her mom, trying to glean the mysteries of adulthood. Flash forward 20, 30 or 40 years and it’s a different scene. Maybe they are still holding hands, but now it’s Mom looking for guidance. Or maybe Mom is on one side of the picture and the adult daughter is on the other side, both cold and distant.

New Lock Dedicated At McAlpine

Planned Battery Plant Will Face Tech Hurdles

Backers of a proposed lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant slated to be built in Glendale, Kentucky are hoping the U.S. Department of Energy will approve the application for funding they’ve just submitted. If granted, those funds could result in the nation’s first large-scale vehicle battery plant. But getting the funding is only clearing the first hurdle.

Wayside Purchases Building on Broadway
