I think it's unfortunate that someone so ill-suited to represent the GOP would have the ability to decide by himself whether or not he'll make a play for the next election. I think it's also unfortunate that the two who appear to be viable candidates, Paul and Grayson, are being forced to play politics by suggesting they will only run if Bunning decides not to. The needs of Kentucky come first, not the need to rub elbows with a 79-yr-old man whose every spoken word only furthers the national humiliation Kentuckians feel. It's old-fashioned politics that anyone like Bunning would get to announce that he's run some polls and based on those results (which he refuses to disclose), he feels he's viable for re-election. Let's run some polls. Ask Al Green from the Louisville Courier to run an online poll. I know most would want Bunning out. We can't afford to lose more seats to the Democrats in this next election. The current administration is already bringing change.... but not the change many thought they could "believe in".
